Halle Bailey expressed her anger after her ex, DDG, brought their son, Halo, onto a Twitch livestream without her permission, especially while she was out of town.
Halle Bailey, known for her role in The Little Mermaid, is not happy after her ex, rapper DDG, put their son, Halo, on a Twitch livestream. Bailey, 24, made her feelings clear on social media, especially since she was away at the time.
She took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her upset. In her now-deleted post, she said, “I’m out of town, and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people.”
Bailey continued, “I am his mother and protector, and I’m saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I’m out of town.” She felt the whole situation was wrong, especially since she had no control over what was happening while she was away.
Her tweet was deleted, and soon after, her account seemed to vanish. Fans understood her frustration, knowing how protective she is of her family’s privacy.

This drama comes just weeks after DDG and Bailey announced their split. On October 3, DDG shared on Instagram that they’d decided to go their separate ways. He said, “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. The decision wasn’t easy, but we believe it’s the best for both of us.”
Though they broke up, DDG made it clear they still care about each other. He wrote, “We are still best friends and adore each other. We’re focusing on co-parenting and moving forward.” He also asked fans for support as they adjust to their new chapter.
Bailey hasn’t said much about the breakup, but it’s clear she values her privacy. The couple kept their relationship and family life private for the most part. They didn’t reveal Halo’s birth until months later, and when they did share his face in July, it was a huge moment for them.
Bailey has previously talked about how she wants to keep her personal life out of the public eye. In March 2024, at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, she said, “There was no way I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone.” She felt no need to expose her baby, her family, or herself to the spotlight.
Bailey and DDG went public with their relationship in March 2022. They were together for over a year before welcoming Halo in December 2023. Even though they’ve gone their separate ways, they both seem committed to co-parenting and raising their son together.
