Wiles, known as the "Ice Maiden" for her sharp and effective political strategies, has a long history in Republican politics. She played pivotal roles in Trump's 2016 and 2020 campaigns and has also been involved in other important political campaigns, including those for Florida Governor Rick Scott and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman.
Wiles started her political journey in 1980 as a scheduler for Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign. She went on to become the chief of staff for Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney and provided advice to Mayor John Peyton. In 2010, she was instrumental in Rick Scott's victory in the Florida gubernatorial election. Additionally, Wiles managed former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign in 2012.
In 2024, Wiles was appointed as the co-chair of Donald Trump's presidential campaign, where she was involved in his victory over Kamala Harris.
