Finally Wendy’s to Release Krabby Patty Burger for SpongeBob’s 25th Anniversary—Get Ready for a Tasty Treat!

Last month, fans of SpongeBob SquarePants gathered on the r/Spongebob subreddit to share exciting news. A user posted a leaked memo that hinted at a special surprise from Wendy’s. 

According to this memo, Wendy’s was planning to release its own version of the famous Krabby Patty burger. This burger was to be part of a celebration for the cartoon’s 25th anniversary.

Now, we have great news! Wendy’s has confirmed that the Krabby Patty burger is really coming. This special burger is called the Krabby Patty Kollab. Along with the burger, there will be a fun treat called the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. Both items will be available at Wendy’s restaurants in the United States, Canada, and Guam.

The Krabby Patty Kollab and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty will be available starting Tuesday, October 8. 

Lindsay Radkoski, the U.S. chief marketing officer for Wendy’s, said in a statement, “In a world of people cutting corners, Wendy’s is known for quality in everything we do — from our fresh, famous food to collaborations with brands that our fans love.”

She continued, “So, it makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages!”

So, what’s in the Krabby Patty Kollab?

It’s a quarter-pound burger topped with two slices of melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and a new special sauce called Krabby Kollab sauce. It sounds delicious!

And what about the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty? This yummy treat starts with Wendy’s classic Vanilla Frosty and mixes in a tasty Pineapple Mango-flavored purée. It’s sure to be a sweet addition to your meal!

Dario Spina, the chief marketing officer of Paramount Brand Studio, also shared his excitement. He said, “The Krabby Patty Kollab marks another innovative way to continue the landmark 25th-anniversary celebration of SpongeBob SquarePants, bringing Bikini Bottom to the surface like never before.”

He added, “Wendy’s pulse on pop culture and connection to fans makes this collaboration a perfect match for Paramount.” This means both companies are excited to work together and bring something special to fans. They plan to create fun social media content and other engaging experiences.

On Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8, there will be an immersive drive-thru experience at Wendy’s located at 14645 Roscoe Boulevard in Panorama City.

But don’t worry if you’re not in L.A. Everyone else can order the Krabby Patty Kollab and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty starting October 8. You can get them in-store, at the drive-thru, or through the Wendy’s mobile app.
