Twenty two (22) polling booths burns on fire in 15 districts from Friday night (January 5) to Saturday night (January 6) in the field of the 12th parliamentary election of Bangladesh.

Among the polling booths set on fire, 3 polling stations were damaged in Gazipur, 2 each in Netrakona, Barisal, Barguna, Khulna, Mymensingh and 1 polling station each in Sherpur, Lalmonirhat, Patuakhali, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Feni, Chittagong, Shariatpur and Tangail.

Polling will also take place at Parveen Siraj Mahila College in Kendua Municipality and Betgati Government Primary School Center in Kandiura Union in Netrakona. Supporters of the strike set fire to these two centers on Saturday (January 6) at noon.

In Netrakona-3 (Kendua Atpara) constituency, 53 polling booths will be held in Atpara and 96 polling stations in Kendua. Among them, boycotters caused the fire in two centers on Saturday (January 6) around 12 o'clock.

Two primary schools of Uzirpur upazila were set on fire in Barisal city. These arson incidents took place on Saturday (January 6) from dawn to morning.

Boycotters set fire to Mirzapur Government Primary School polling booth in Sherpur Sadar Upazila. The incident took place in the Mirzapur area of Bajitkhila Union of the upazila in the early hours of Saturday (January 6). Locals said that they saw the fire coming out of the storeroom of Mirzapur Government Primary School at 6:30 am. Two fire service units brought the fire under control within minutes.

Boycotters set fire to Patuakhali Sherbangla Secondary School polling booth. The miscreants broke the windows of the classroom and poured petrol and set it on fire early on Saturday (January 6). Three pairs of benches were burnt in the fire.

Boycotters also set fire to Sabia Government Primary School polling booth of Chandnighat Union of Sadar Upazila of Moulvibazar-3 Constituency. This incident happened on Friday (January 5) around 8:30 pm.

Boycotters set fire to two polling booths in Barguna-1 (Sadar, Amtali and Taltali) constituencies. Locals noticed the fire and brought it under control. The polling booth was partially damaged. The incident of arson took place on Friday (January 5) night in Amtali Upazila's Arpangasiya Union. However, the police claim that they do not know anything about this.
The two polling booths that were set on fire were Baliatali Charakgachia Dakhil Madrasa and Madhya Arpangasiya Government Primary School in the same union.

Dhalaipard Government Primary School of Habiganj-4 Constituency Chunarughat Municipal Area was set on fire by boycotters. The furniture of the polling booth was burnt in the fire. The incident took place at Dhalairpar Government Primary School polling station in Chunarughat municipality at 12 o'clock in the morning on Friday (January 6).

Boycotters poured petrol and set fire to Char Sahabhikhari High School in Sonagazi coastal upazila of Feni. The school is a polling booth for Feni-3 Constituency in the 12th National Assembly Elections.

A fire broke out at Nishintapara Government Primary School in Bandar Thana's South Madhyam Halishahar Dhooppul area early on Saturday morning.
Shakila Soltana, Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong City Police (Port), said that a fire broke out in the head teacher's room early in the morning. After distributing the books to the students, some were left over. Among them, about 70 books were burnt. The Center will not have any problem with this.

Charmohan Sureshwar primary school polling booth in Gharisha union in Naria upazila was set on fire on Friday night.

Tipna Government Primary School Polling Station of Kharnia Union of Dumuria Upazila and Bagmara Government Primary School polling booth of Rupsa Upazila were set on fire on Friday night.

On Friday night, T&T Adarsh High School, East Chandana Government Primary School and Banshtali Government Primary School polling booth of Kaliakair Upazila were set on fire in Telipara, Gazipur.

Parshipara Government Primary School center of Gafargaon Union Ward No. 3 in Gafargaon Upazila on Saturday morning and Haripur Government Primary School polling booth of Singrail Union of Nandail Upazila were set on fire at around 9 am.

An abandoned room at the Kandila Government Primary School polling booth of Ward No. 1 of Tangail Municipality was set on fire at 6 am on Saturday. Nazmul Anam, head teacher of that school, said that one door of the building was completely burnt and another door was partially burnt in the fire.

Miscreants set fire to a polling booth in Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat-1 Constituency. On Saturday (January 6) around 10:30 pm, there was a fire at the polling booth of Sheikh Sundar Master Para Government Primary School, Ward No. 6 of Saniajan Union of Hatibandha Upazila. At that time, the chair table and various electoral equipments in the center were burnt.
