Adani Group unveiled the latest military drone Drishti 10 'Starliner' capable of flying for a long time at medium altitude. It's the India's first self-made drone that inaugurated on Wednesday (January 10) by the country's Navy Chief Admiral R. Hari Kumar.

Today, Admiral R Hari Kumar, the Chief of Naval Staff, inaugurated the maiden voyage of the indigenous Drishti 10 'Starliner' Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for the Navy. This advanced and cutting-edge UAV represents a major milestone in achieving self-reliance and technological superiority in long-lasting, battle-tested, and locally developed advanced airborne systems. 

This is a significant step in India's strategic development and technological advancement towards a sophisticated, high-endurance, combat-usable and indigenously developed air defense system, Indian media reported.

The drone will provide an advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform, with a 36-hour endurance, 450 kg payload capacity, the only all-weather military platform that can fly in both separate and isolated airspace.

Admiral R. Hari Kumar said this is an important event and a transformative step for India towards self-reliance in ISR technology and maritime supremacy.

He said the addition of Drishti 10 will enhance our naval operational capabilities and strengthen our readiness for continuous maritime surveillance.

Drishti 10 drone launch ceremony was held at Adani Aerospace Park in Hyderabad on this day. Adani Defense & Aerospace is playing an important role in achieving self-reliance in India's defense and security.
