Barack Obama, who closed the second night of the convention, praised Harris and Walz. He sharply criticized former President Donald Trump.

Obama called Trump a “78-year-old billionaire” who has been complaining about his problems since he first appeared in the spotlight. Obama warned against “four more years of noise and confusion.” He suggested that it would only bring more trouble.

He stated that America is ready for “a new chapter” and a “better story” with Kamala Harris as President.

Obama stressed that, even with the campaign’s excitement, the race will be tight in a divided country. He asked voters to stay involved, as the competition remains intense.

Michelle Obama also gave a powerful speech. She talked about the “contagious power of hope” she sees around. She criticized Trump’s attacks on her and Barack.

Michelle challenged Trump’s recent comments about “black jobs.” She questioned if Trump’s own ambitions might not match his words. Michelle asked voters to support Harris and Walz, calling them “good, big-hearted people.”

Former press secretary Stephanie Grisham, now a critic of Trump, also spoke. She accused Trump of lacking empathy and honesty.

Grisham expressed her support for Kamala Harris, highlighting Harris’s truthfulness and respect for the American people.

Senators Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders praised Harris and Walz. They highlighted their commitment to a sensible agenda.

Doug Emhoff, Harris’s husband, shared personal stories about their life together. His stories made Harris even more likable to the audience.

Celebrities like Spike Lee, Sean Astin, Eva Longoria, and Wendell Pierce also appeared. They added star power to the convention’s energy.
