Ariana Grande stuns in pink at Wicked premiere

On Saturday night, Ariana Grande wowed fans at the premiere of Wicked in Sydney, Australia. The star turned heads on the red carpet with a beautiful blush pink ball gown by Vivienne Westwood Couture. 

This gown was designed with layers of soft pink tulle and decorated with sparkly peach crystals arranged in a Starburst pattern—a design seen often in Westwood’s collections since 2010.

The gown’s bodice was structured with a corset, which highlighted Ariana’s waist and gave her an elegant look. Sheer, flowing sleeves added a romantic touch, reaching down to her wrists. 

The skirt cascaded to the floor in a dreamy waterfall of fabric, making Ariana look like she stepped right out of a fairy tale. For her jewelry, Ariana chose pieces by Lorraine Schwartz, including a delicate butterfly choker and diamond earrings that sparkled under the lights.

To complete her look, Ariana styled her hair half up, letting one loose tendril fall along the side of her face. Her makeup was soft and natural, featuring a slight cat-eye look and a glossy pink lip that matched her gown perfectly.

Ariana wasn’t the only one making a fashion statement that night. Her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, showed up in a stunning black gown by Louis Vuitton. Cynthia’s dress featured a dramatic silhouette with a huge bow at the back, creating an eye-catching shape as she walked the red carpet. 

Like Ariana’s gown, Cynthia’s also flowed all the way to the floor, giving her look an elegant touch. She added a unique black choker with a sparkling silver and diamond pendant. For an extra pop, she wore green sunglasses, silver earrings, and rings, plus a chic green gel manicure.

The two stars posed together on a specially-designed “yellow brick road” made just for the premiere. Standing side-by-side, they looked like a perfect team, bringing the magic of Wicked to life.

Since they began filming Wicked, Ariana and Cynthia have grown close. In a recent podcast interview with Broadway Podcast Network’s Sentimental Men, Ariana opened up about their bond. She shared that, before filming started, they didn’t get to do a “chemistry read”—a test actors often do together to see how well they connect on-screen. 

But Ariana said she and Cynthia made a promise to understand each other deeply, saying, “I can just look at her, and I know what she’s thinking… because without that, nothing else works.”

The premiere in Sydney was not only a fashion highlight but also a chance for fans to see these two stars together. Ariana’s soft, fairytale-inspired gown and Cynthia’s bold, modern look were both show-stoppers. The pair’s bond shines through in every picture, giving a hint of the chemistry they’ll bring to the Wicked movie.
