There has been much speculation about Bill Belichick's potential departure as head coach of the Patriots, but if he is indeed nearing the end of his coaching career, he insists that it won't be a bitter ending. Despite the team's disappointing 2-9 record this season, Belichick was asked today if he still finds joy in coaching the team, to which he replied with a resounding "Absolutely."

Given his unwavering enjoyment of his job, even at the age of 71, it seems unlikely that he will retire after the season. After all, why would he walk away from something he still finds so fulfilling?

With their current performance, there seems to be little hope for improvement if Belichick were to continue coaching in 2024.
