Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, again. The "Invasion of Privacy" rapper made this move following recent cheating rumors involving Offset.
Cardi filed the divorce papers on July 31. Although her representative didn't share many details, a source revealed that Cardi wants primary custody of their two children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 2. The source mentioned that the latest cheating rumors with an ex were the final straw for Cardi.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider told the publication. “This is something she wants to do.”
Offset was recently accused of cheating after a blurry video showed him at a table with his alleged ex, Big PrettyRedz. Offset, 32, denied the accusations, saying he was at a public casino with a pregnant, married woman. He later explained that the woman lost her husband in June.
PrettyRedz also denied the rumors. She posted on her Instagram Story, “It’s completely crazy that I even have to do this! PLEASE! If not for me…PLEASE RESPECT MY LATE HUSBAND!” She added that she is carrying her late husband’s child and asked for peace.
This isn't the first time Cardi and Offset have had public issues. They first separated in 2018, one year after getting married. Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020 but took Offset back within a month. In December 2023, Cardi announced another separation, revealing they had been apart for a while. Days later, she called Offset a “bit*h a** ni**a” but they reunited on New Year’s Eve in Miami.
Despite their rocky past, the couple seemed to be in a good place recently. They took their daughter Kulture to Disneyland Paris just last month. However, the latest cheating rumors have led Cardi to file for divorce once again.
