Charlotte "Bowie" Drozd, Daughter of Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd, Found Safe After Urgent Search

The Flaming Lips, a popular band, made a heartfelt plea for help on social media. They were searching for Steven Drozd's daughter, Charlotte "Bowie" Drozd, who is just 16 years old. On October 7, the band announced that Charlotte was missing, and they urgently needed assistance to find her.

In their post, the Flaming Lips shared that Charlotte was last seen at the Space Needle in Seattle early on Saturday morning. They posted a picture of her, which looked like a missing person poster. 

The poster included important details about her appearance. Charlotte is 5 feet 7 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes. The band also mentioned that she might have been heading toward downtown Seattle when she disappeared.

Steven Drozd, who plays many instruments in the band, also tweeted about his daughter. He added that Charlotte was last seen on the monorail. This worried many fans and followers, as they shared the post to help spread the word. 

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed that they were looking for Charlotte in a tweet on the same day. They shared more details, including what Charlotte was wearing when she went missing.

Charlotte was last spotted in khaki shorts and pink shoes. She was last seen near the 400 block of Broad Street, close to the Space Needle. As the search continued, many people in the community shared the posts online. They hoped to find Charlotte quickly and safely.

On October 8, just one day later, the SPD shared wonderful news. They announced that Charlotte had been found safe. The SPD thanked everyone who helped in the search, saying, "Charlotte has been found and is safe. Thanks for everyone’s help getting her back to her family." This news brought relief to many, especially her family and friends.

The Flaming Lips did not provide any details on how Charlotte was found or what happened to her during the time she was missing. However, they did post an update on their official account, letting fans know that Charlotte was safe.

Charlotte is the daughter of Steven Drozd, who has been a member of the Flaming Lips since 1991. He is known for playing various instruments, such as drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and singing backup vocals.
