Next season, the Marquette team will face the Georgia Bulldogs in a single game held at The Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas. The announcement of this matchup was made on Friday by Complete Sports Management, the organization responsible for managing the Battle 4 Atlantis Basketball Tournament. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 23.

Lea Miller, the CEO of Complete Sports Management, expressed her excitement about the upcoming competition between Georgia and Marquette men's basketball programs at The Atlantis in November. She was thrilled to welcome both premier teams to compete on a completely unbiased court. Having previously worked with Coach Smart and Coach White in Paradise, Miller is confident that this event will be a memorable experience for the teams and their fans.

The evening of November 24th is when the game will take place, specifically in the Imperial Ballroom at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort. Details regarding tickets and travel packages will be disclosed at a later time.

This is the fourth time the Bulldogs and the Golden Eagles will face off. The first meeting took place in the opening round of the 1974 Milwaukee Classic, which Marquette won. In both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, the teams had one victory each, with Marquette winning in Athens on Dec. 4, 2016, and the Bulldogs getting a road victory on Dec. 2 the following year.

Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas Venues

Located within Atlantis Paradise Island, the Imperial Arena, also known as the Imperial Ballroom, serves as a convertible space for various purposes such as hosting conventions, basketball games, and serving as a ballroom. One of its notable events is the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, which takes place in late November, just around Thanksgiving, featuring both men's and women's early-season college basketball games.

Although the ballroom officially appeared in November 2007, it underwent significant renovations before its grand reopening in November 2011 to accommodate the inaugural Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Spanning an impressive 50,000 square feet (4,600 square meters) in size, the Ballroom showcases dimensions of 289 feet by 165 feet (88 meters by 50 meters), with a relatively low ceiling height of 26 feet (7.9 meters), which distinguishes it as one of the college basketball venues with a lower ceiling.
