This decision puts her in line with her rival, former President Donald Trump, as both work to win over service workers, a key group in the state.

Harris, campaigning with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, finished a multi-day tour of important states with a stop in Nevada, a state that could be crucial in the upcoming presidential election. Harris repeated her promise to raise the minimum wage and get rid of taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers, pledging to keep fighting for working families if elected.

In her speech, Harris also promised to address rising prices, vowing to stop big companies from unfairly raising prices, lower drug costs, and fight against corporate landlords increasing rents.

Trump, who had earlier promised to end taxes on tips during a June rally in Las Vegas, accused Harris of copying his idea. He expressed doubt about her commitment, suggesting she was using it for political reasons.

Harris, who was officially named the Democratic Party's presidential candidate this week, has been campaigning in swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona, all of which are key to winning the 270 electoral votes needed to become president.

On Sunday, Harris is set to attend a fundraiser in San Francisco, where she is expected to raise over $12 million. Recent polls show Harris leading Trump by four percentage points in key swing states, a notable change from earlier polls. Nationally, Harris holds a five-point lead over Trump, according to a recent Ipsos poll.

Harris's campaign events have drawn large crowds, with over 12,000 attendees at a recent rally in Las Vegas, showing her growing momentum as the election nears.
