Actress Kate Beckinsale has accused a massage therapist of sexual assault and battery. The 51-year-old star filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department, claiming that Nick Abramovic assaulted her during an appointment on August 7.

Abramovic, who runs the Bionic Method, denies the claims. He said, "I did not assault her at all. I completely deny these allegations."

The incident comes after a disagreement between the two over an unpaid bill. Abramovic says Kate owes him $2,700 for three sessions she attended over two weeks in the summer. He claims she has not paid the amount, but no charges have been filed against him as of now.

Abramovic Denies the Accusations

Abramovic told the New York Post, "In the five years I’ve run Bionic, I’ve never had any complaint like this from anyone I’ve treated. I’ve worked with hundreds of women without any problems. I’m not trying to defame Kate. This situation is just strange, and I hope it’s a misunderstanding."

He describes his Bionic Method as more than just a physical massage. According to him, it helps release emotional and energetic blockages. He insists he’s never had a similar complaint from other clients.

Beckinsale Speaks Out on Social Media

Kate Beckinsale hinted at the incident on her Instagram by posting an image with the words: "Boys will be held accountable for their actions." She also tagged @survivorsofsexualassault in her post.

In addition to this, Kate shared screenshots of Yelp reviews from Abramovic's former clients. Some reviews claimed that he "targeted" female clients and made them feel uncomfortable. One client wrote that "something felt immediately off and weird" when visiting his building.

A Dispute Over Payments

Abramovic claims Beckinsale never planned to pay him for the treatments. He posted on Instagram that over two weeks, she scheduled $2,700 worth of sessions and promised to pay later. "But after her last session, she completely ghosted us," he added.

The massage therapist said he only received notice of the criminal allegations after he called her out on social media for not paying.

His lawyer, George Shohet, said they are considering filing a defamation case, stating, "This seems like a retaliatory act after Mr. Abramovic asked for payment from Ms. Beckinsale."

Beckinsale's Lawyer Responds

Beckinsale’s lawyer, Marty Singer, responded to these claims, saying, "The idea that my client would file a fake police report just to avoid paying money is false and defamatory."

He also added that it makes no sense to think that Kate would spend more on legal fees than the cost of the treatments.

Singer continued, "Nick never offered to record the session, and that statement is simply not true."

At this time, no charges have been filed, and the case is still ongoing. Abramovic insists he’s innocent, while Beckinsale stands by her claims.
