From June 2024, Lisa Ashworth will take on the role of CEO at the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA). She will succeed Julia Evans, who has been serving as the BSRIA CEO since taking over from Andrew Eastwell in 2014.

Lisa Ashworth brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Her career has spanned leadership roles in technology-based data and information businesses, including stints at organizations such as the Financial Times, PR Newswire, Frost and Sullivan, and Reevoo/Feefo. Notably, she has successfully grown businesses across diverse sectors and has a strong background in international expansion.

As she confirms her role on June 1, 2024, Lisa Ashworth’s leadership style, which is described as open, collaborative, and people-centric, aligns seamlessly with BSRIA’s organizational ethos. She aims to advance the association’s research ambitions and drive commercial growth, particularly in the areas of knowledge, data, and information. With the construction sector’s focus on sustainability and the transition to greener practices, BSRIA’s resources will play a crucial role in achieving digitization and decarbonization goals, ultimately contributing to a practical pathway to Net Zero and beyond.

BSRIA, which has been providing registered testing, research, and consultancy services to the construction and building services industry for nearly 70 years, remains committed to maintaining its independent approach and authoritative reputation. With offices in the UK, France, China, and the USA, BSRIA continues to serve stakeholders worldwide with research and best practice guidance.
