The impact of the earthquake was felt as far east as Fort Smith, Springdale, and Bentonville in Arkansas. Additionally, reports from Kansas, specifically Topeka and Overland Park, mentioned feeling its effects. In the meantime, a live stream captured the tremors taking place in Oklahoma.
According to the geological survey, the earthquake occurred at 11:24 p.m. local time near Prague, Oklahoma, specifically about 5 miles northwest. Prague is a small city with a population of approximately 2,000 residents.
Based on initial reports from USGS, the tremors were perceptible in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. However, the extent of the earthquake's effects remains uncertain.
