Minu’s Facebook Post
Minu Muneer took to Facebook to share her painful experiences. She wrote, "I am reporting incidents of physical and verbal abuse by Mukesh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Idavela Babu, Jayasurya, Advocate Chandrasekharan, and production controllers Noble and Vichu.
In 2013, I faced abuse from these individuals while working on a project. I tried to cope, but the abuse became unbearable. I had to leave the Malayalam film industry and move to Chennai.
I spoke out against the abuse in a newspaper article. Now, I seek justice and accountability for the trauma I endured. I need your help in taking action against them for their wrongdoings."

Minu also shared a disturbing experience with actor Mukesh, who is also an MLA. She revealed that when she tried to join the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (A.M.M.A), Mukesh asked for sexual favors in return for membership.
In an interview with ANI, Minu recounted another incident with Kathanar actor Jayasurya during a shoot in 2008. She said, "During a shoot in the state capital, as I was returning from a restroom, Jayasurya grabbed me from behind and kissed me.
I pushed him away and ran. He also invited me to his flat, but after I declined, there were no further issues."

A.M.M.A. president and superstar Mohanlal is expected to address the media soon regarding these issues. With Siddique, the general secretary of A.M.M.A, among the accused, Mohanlal is likely to face some tough questions.
Currently, Mohanlal is in Chennai for the sound mixing of his directorial debut, Barroz. A planned press meeting on Tuesday, August 27, has been postponed due to personal commitments.
