Oasis fans in Ireland and the UK are buzzing with excitement for the band’s upcoming reunion concerts. If you missed out on pre-sale tickets, don’t worry—general sale starts on Saturday.

The general sale for Oasis’s two big concerts at Croke Park in August 2025 kicked off at 8 am. With over 250,000 people already in line online, getting a ticket won’t be easy.

Warning on Ticket Resales

On Friday night, Oasis warned fans about unofficial ticket resellers. Tickets from the pre-sale appeared on resale sites for thousands of pounds. The band’s message on X (formerly Twitter) read: “We’ve noticed people selling tickets on other sites since the pre-sale. Tickets sold against our rules will be canceled.”=

You can buy tickets through Ticketmaster, GigsAndTours, and See Tickets. But some tickets have also been listed on resale sites for huge amounts. For example, Viagogo had tickets for Wembley Stadium listed at up to £5,909. StubHub had “Hospitality Club” tickets priced at £10,578.

StubHub says its tickets come with a “FanProtect 100% guarantee,” but Lisa Webb, a consumer law expert at Which?, warns against buying these expensive resale tickets. She said, “We advise against buying tickets at high prices. They could be scams, or even valid tickets might get canceled if sold outside official sites or above the original price.”

Tickets for Oasis’s 15 UK shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff will be available at 9 am on Saturday. The band suggests fans log in to ticketing sites early to increase their chances of getting tickets.

Earlier this week, the band reassured fans about confirmation emails from the pre-sale. They received an enormous amount of interest. To enter the pre-sale, fans had to name the band’s original drummer and answer a few questions about their history.

Prices for the Croke Park concerts on August 16 and 17 start at €86.50 (£72.80), not including booking fees. Tickets for Wembley Stadium in London start at £74.25. The priciest option, including a pre-show party and exhibition, costs £506.25.

For Cardiff’s Principality Stadium shows, the cheapest tickets are £73. Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium tickets start at £74. Standing tickets at Wembley cost £151.25, with slightly lower prices at Cardiff and Edinburgh, at £150 and £151, respectively.

In Manchester, where the band started, tickets start at £148.50. Only standing tickets are available here, along with some hospitality and luxury packages.

Noel Gallagher and his brother Liam announced their reunion on Tuesday, ending years of speculation. Their split in 2009 followed a backstage argument at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Fans have eagerly awaited this reunion since then.

The band hasn’t said who will join Liam and Noel for the reunion shows. Meanwhile, Oasis has released a special 30th-anniversary edition of their debut album, “Definitely Maybe.” This new edition includes outtakes, demos, alternate versions of songs, and a remastered original LP. It’s available as a four-LP vinyl box set, a two-CD set, colored vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

Viagogo and StubHub have been contacted for their comments on the reselling issue.
