Olivia Rodrigo, the talented pop star, has made a big splash in the music world. She recently released a concert film called "Guts," which has quickly become a favorite among fans. This film shows her incredible performance during her world tour. Fans everywhere are excited about this new release.

In the past year, concert films have turned into huge events. Taylor Swift's concert film earned over $250 million, while Beyoncé's made around $50 million worldwide. Seeing these big numbers, it’s no surprise that Olivia Rodrigo, now one of the biggest names in pop music, joined the trend.

At just 21 years old, Rodrigo has already had an amazing career. She started her journey on the Disney Channel, where many young stars begin.

However, she quickly broke away from the Disney image to create her own unique sound. Her first single, "Drivers License," released in 2021, became a massive hit. It went viral on TikTok, reached Number 1 around the world, and helped her debut album, "Sour," become a big success.

Now, three years later, Rodrigo’s concert film, "Guts," has hit Netflix. It was filmed during her performance at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This film is more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of her talent. The audience gets to see Rodrigo as a powerful pop star, playing her guitar and singing her heart out.

Rodrigo’s music appeals to all ages. She has haunting ballads like "Vampire" and "Teenage Dream." She also has upbeat pop-rock songs like "Bad Idea Right?" and "Good 4 U." These songs get fans singing along and feeling excited. One special guest in the film is Chappell Roan, who opened for Rodrigo on her U.S. tour. They perform a fun duet of Roan’s lively song, "Hot to Go!"

Fans will be happy to see that the film features songs like "So American" and "Obsessed." These tracks come from the deluxe edition of "Guts." Many believe that if these songs had been part of the original album, it would have scored even higher reviews.

James Merryman directed "Guts." He also worked on Beyoncé's "Renaissance" film. Merryman has done a fantastic job capturing Rodrigo’s energy and connection with her fans.

The film shows her thousands of fans, known as "Livies," dressed in their signature styles of satin bows, plaid dresses, and fishnet tights. The close-up shots of Rodrigo on stage highlight her confidence and skill, making it hard to believe how young she really is.

However, the film doesn’t include much behind-the-scenes footage or personal moments with Rodrigo.

Unlike Taylor Swift’s films, which often show more personal stories, "Guts" sticks to a traditional concert format. This means viewers mainly see her performances and the crowd’s excitement.

Olivia Rodrigo is rumored to headline the Glastonbury music festival next year, which would be a huge milestone for her career.

What makes Rodrigo so fascinating is how she has risen to fame without following the usual pop star path. Unlike other young stars like Ariana Grande or Sabrina Carpenter, Rodrigo embraces her rock roots. She feels just as comfortable playing loud guitar riffs as she does sitting at a piano and singing soft love songs.
