A famous preacher from the Philippines, Apollo Quiboloy, has been arrested on serious charges. These charges include sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. Quiboloy, who calls himself the "appointed son of god" and the "owner of the universe," has said he did nothing wrong.
On Sunday, September 8, Philippine Interior Minister Benjamin Abalos Jr shared the news of Quiboloy's arrest. Abalos posted on Facebook, saying, "Apollo Quiboloy has been caught." However, he didn’t explain where or how Quiboloy was found.
Wanted by the FBI
Quiboloy is not only in trouble in the Philippines. He is also wanted in the United States. The FBI has put him on its "most wanted" list for similar charges of sex trafficking and smuggling large amounts of cash.
