Taylor Swift has never won best song for Grammy Awards. In the year 2023, two star were the talk of the world: Barbie and Taylor Swift. Both of them are being recognized at the prestigious Grammy Awards tonight.

Taylor Swift's music is already well-known and needs no introduction, while Barbie has made her mark on the soundtrack of a film with contributions from Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa. However, Ryan Gosling's song "I'm Just Ken" unfortunately did not make it to the final cut, despite receiving an Oscar nomination.

After successfully establishing herself as the biggest pop star in the world with the launch of her Eras tour last year, this year's Grammys could be a groundbreaking event for Taylor Swift.

If she wins the award for best album for "Midnights," she will make history as the first artist to win this prize four times. She has previously been awarded for "Fearless" (2010), "1989" (2016), and "Folklore" (2021).

Currently, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon share the record with Swift, having also won the award three times. A win this year would elevate Swift above them and etch her name in Grammys history.

Despite being the most-nominated songwriter ever, with seven song of the year nominations throughout the years, Taylor Swift has never emerged as the winner in that particular category. This may come as a surprise, considering she is widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters of her generation.

On the other hand, Beyonce, who holds a record-breaking 32 Grammy wins and is the most decorated artist in history, has also never claimed the coveted album of the year award. At this year's Grammys, Swift's album "Anti-Hero" will be competing against notable contenders such as Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For?" and Dua Lipa's "Dance The Night," both of which are songs from the Barbie soundtrack.

Additionally, Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," Olivia Rodrigo's "Vampire," SZA's "Kill Bill," Jon Batiste's "Butterfly," and Lana Del Rey's "A&W" are also vying for the same category. In total, Swift is nominated for six awards, including best pop vocal album, best pop solo performance, best duo or group performance for her collaboration with Ice Spice on "Karma," and record of the year for "Anti-Hero" once again.

Alternative pop and RnB singer SZA has emerged as the most-nominated artist, with a staggering nine nominations. These nominations reach across many categories, including best melodic rap performance, best traditional RnB performance, best progressive RnB album, best RnB performance, best RnB song, and best pop duo/group performance.

SZA, whose real name is Solana Rowe, received critical acclaim for her second album SOS, which was released towards the end of 2022. It is highly anticipated that she will secure victories in several of the genre-specific categories.

However, the competition is fierce, with pop powerhouse Taylor Swift and Grammy favorite Billie Eilish dominating the major categories. Achieving a clean sweep of all nine nominations may prove to be a challenging feat for SZA.

Following closely behind SZA in terms of nominations is Victoria Monet, who has received seven nods. Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Miley Cyrus also share the spotlight with six nominations each, alongside Taylor Swift.

In addition to these talented artists, Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Travis Scott are all set to grace the Grammys stage with their performances.

Furthermore, the legendary Joni Mitchell will make her debut performance at the Grammys, while U2 will deliver an unprecedented broadcast performance from the magnificent Sphere venue in Las Vegas, where they began their residency in September.

This prestigious accolade holds great significance, having been previously bestowed upon renowned artists such as Eilish, Rodrigo, Sam Smith, Adele, John Legend, Amy Winehouse, and many others who later achieved immense stardom.

Among the contenders fighting for this honor in the current year are:

• Jelly Roll
• The War And Treaty
• Victoria Monet
• Noah Kahan
• Coco Jones
• Ice Spice
• Fred Again
• Gracie Abrams

Noah Kahan's remarkable album "Stick Season" has garnered tremendous success, while rapper Ice Spice has also emerged as a strong competitor for the award.
