Former President Donald Trump has called for the death penalty for migrants who kill Americans. He made this statement at a rally in Reno, Nevada, on Friday. Earlier that day, he spoke about the same idea at a rally in Aurora, Colorado.

Trump said, “I’m hereby calling for the death penalty for any migrant who kills an American citizen or a law enforcement officer.” This message is part of his growing campaign against immigration. He has often linked immigrants to crime and violence, trying to make them seem like a threat to American safety.

During his rally in Aurora, Trump used strong words to describe the situation. He said he would “rescue” the city, claiming it has been “invaded and conquered” by migrants who came to the United States illegally. He believes that immigrants are causing problems in places like Aurora.

Trump has also said that Colorado is facing issues because of gang members from Venezuela.

He accused Vice President Kamala Harris of allowing “an army of illegal alien gang members and migrant criminals” into the country. He suggested that these groups are destroying cities like Aurora.

Mayor Mike Coffman of Aurora, who is a Republican, disagreed with Trump’s claims. Last month, he said that Trump’s view of the city is not correct. Coffman wants to show that the situation is different from what Trump describes. He believes the narrative is not accurate.

Trump's remarks come as he is trying to win support for his campaign against Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president. He has often criticized Harris, saying she is responsible for the Biden administration’s immigration policies. Trump wants his supporters to think that noncitizens are a danger to American lives.

In addition to calling for the death penalty for migrants who commit murder, Trump has also suggested using it against human and drug traffickers. His campaign spokesperson did not comment on his latest statements by Friday night.

At the same time, Trump’s comments about immigrants are not new. He has made similar statements in other states, linking immigrants to violence. For example, during a recent presidential debate, Trump claimed that Haitian immigrants were harming pets in Springfield, Ohio. However, local officials said they had no evidence to support this claim.

Trump’s language aims to create fear about immigration. He uses his rallies to reach out to his supporters, stressing that migrants are a threat. Many of his supporters agree with his view, while others believe it is not true.
