The crackdown on illegal immigrants continues in Malaysia. 110 illegal immigrants were arrested in one day in the operation.

The country's The Star reports that the local immigration department raided the Seremban area on Wednesday and detained 110 foreigners. At least 10 Bangladeshis are among them.
Malaysian Immigration Department Director Kenneth Tan Aik Kiang said regular raids are being conducted against undocumented foreign workers. One of the 110 foreigners arrested in yesterday's operation, 91 are men.
Talking to reporters after the raid, he said, "The expatriate workers have been detained for violating the Immigration Act. They have overstayed and entered illegally after the expiry of the period.''
According to the report of The Star, 64 of those detained are citizens of Myanmar. Apart from this there are 13 Indonesian, 10 Bangladeshi, 6 Indian, 9 Pakistani, 6 Sri Lankan and 2 Nepali nationals.
Kenneth Tan Aik Kiang said most of the foreigners worked in businesses and construction sites in the area.
Meanwhile, Malay Mail, another English media outlet of the country, reported on Thursday that the Immigration Department of Johor Province conducted a search operation at some factories in Senai. At that time, 85 foreign immigrants, including 69 Bangladeshis, were detained for not having a valid work permit.
Director of Johor Immigration Department Baharuddin Tahir said, Operation Mahir was targeted at foreign migrants; Those without valid travel documents or employment permits.
He said, after receiving information that foreign workers were working without valid work permits or passes, raids were conducted at food factories and other establishments in Senai on Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement officials questioned a total of 110 foreigners and local residents. 40 of them were later detained for violating immigration laws.
