Belarus is sending more troops to the Ukraine border. Nearly a third of its army is now stationed in this area. This action comes as tensions between Belarus and Ukraine rise.

Alexander Lukashenko, the leader of Belarus, says there are over 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers near the border. He thinks Ukraine’s actions are aggressive. Lukashenko adds that special units like Alpha and Almaz are working hard to protect Belarus.

Lukashenko believes Ukraine might be planning an attack from Belarusian land. To prepare, he has sent extra troops to reinforce the border defenses.

At the same time, Ukraine is taking strong steps. On July 6, Ukrainian forces started an offensive in the Kursk region. They have taken control of 82 towns, covering about 1,150 square kilometers. This move aims to shield Ukraine’s border from Russian attacks.

A new military office, led by Major General Eduard Moskalev, is now managing the operation in Kursk. Russia reports that Ukrainian forces have destroyed two bridges over the Seym River in the Kursk region. This destruction is meant to disrupt Russian movements and supplies.

As the conflict between Belarus and Ukraine continues, the focus is on the growing tensions and the effects of Ukraine’s actions in the Kursk region.
