Rock legends Oasis have finally answered the long-standing question: "Will they or won't they?" Yes, they will! Oasis is getting back together for a 14-date tour across the UK and Ireland in 2025. This news has thrilled the music world, with fans eagerly looking forward to their return to the stage.

Tour Dates and Venues

The tour starts in July 2025 and goes through August. Oasis will perform at big stadiums in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Despite earlier rumors, they won't be headlining the Glastonbury Festival or playing 10 dates at Wembley and the Etihad Stadium.

Instead, the band has picked a more focused set of dates, making sure that each show is special.

The announced dates are:

July 2025:

  • 4, 5 July: Principality Stadium, Cardiff
  • 11, 12, 19, 20 July: Heaton Park, Manchester
  • 25, 26 July: Wembley Stadium, London

August 2025:

  • 2, 3 August: Wembley Stadium, London
  • 8, 9 August: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
  • 16, 17 August: Croke Park, Dublin

Tickets and Future Plans

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on 31 August. You can get yours from Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, or See Tickets. For Dublin shows, tickets will be available from 8 a.m. on the same day through Ticketmaster Ireland. Prices will be revealed when the tickets go live.

While this tour covers the UK and Ireland, there are hints that Oasis plans to take their reunion beyond Europe later in 2025. This tour, called the "domestic leg," might be just the start of a global comeback.

The Reunion: Why Now?

Fans have wondered for years about a possible Oasis reunion. The band's break-up in 2009 was rough, with Noel Gallagher walking out before a show at a French festival. The feud between the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, has been well-known.

They’ve taken shots at each other in public, saying there was no chance of getting back together. But something has changed.

According to a press release, there wasn't a single "aha" moment that sparked the reunion. Instead, it was a slow realization that the time was right. In a joint statement, the band said, "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

30 Years of Oasis: A Celebration

The reunion tour marks a big moment for Oasis. It's been 30 years since the release of their second album, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?," one of the best-selling British albums ever.

This tour will also come 16 years after the band's split and 30 years after their first album, "Definitely Maybe."

Unlike Liam Gallagher's current 30th-anniversary tour of "Definitely Maybe," the setlist for the 2025 shows won’t focus only on that album. Instead, fans can expect a mix of their biggest hits, making each concert a trip down memory lane.

What's Next for Oasis?

As of now, the full Oasis lineup hasn't been confirmed, and there are no plans to record new music. However, the excitement around this tour suggests that anything is possible. Liam and Noel Gallagher have been teasing the reunion on social media, sharing short clips and messages that hinted at this big news.

Liam is still touring "Definitely Maybe" with guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, while Noel recently finished a series of festival dates with his band, High Flying Birds. Despite their separate paths, it seems the brothers have found common ground, at least for this tour.

Oasis’s return is one of the most awaited events in recent rock history. With their 2025 tour, the Gallagher brothers are set to remind the world why Oasis remains one of the most loved bands of all time. Fans across the UK, Ireland, and beyond are in for an unforgettable experience.
