Starbucks Celebrates the "Wicked" Movie with Newly Launched Magical Drinks

Get ready for a magical experience as Starbucks celebrates the release of the movie "Wicked"! This exciting film, based on the beloved musical, will be in theaters on November 22, 2024.

Two New Beverages Inspired by "Wicked"

Starting Tuesday, October 22, you can enjoy two enchanting beverages at Starbucks locations across the country. These drinks are inspired by the film's main characters, Glinda and Elphaba.

First up is Glinda's Pink Potion. This delightful drink is a bright pink beverage made with Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers®. It’s mixed with creamy coconut milk, ice, and a scoop of real, freeze-dried dragonfruit. Topped with nondairy strawberry cold foam, this drink looks like something straight out of a fairytale. To finish it off, it's sprinkled with colorful candy sprinkles, giving it an extra touch of magic!

The second drink is Elphaba's Cold Brew. This drink is made with Starbucks Cold Brew, which is a special blend of coffee beans. These beans are steeped slowly and cold to create a super-smooth flavor. This cold brew is sweetened with peppermint-flavored syrup and topped with silky nondairy matcha cold foam. Like Glinda’s drink, it’s also finished with colorful candy sprinkles to bring some magic to your cup.

Exclusive Merchandise Launches November 7

But that's not all! Starting November 7, Starbucks will offer exclusive "Wicked"-themed merchandise. Fans can find a variety of fun items, including cold cups, tumblers, and keychains. The collection will showcase bright colors like pink, green, and shiny gold, inspired by the characters and the Emerald City.

If you are a collector, don’t miss out on the special mugs as part of Starbucks' Discovery Series. These mugs will feature designs inspired by famous places from the "Wicked" story, such as Munchkinland, Emerald City, and Shiz University. You can buy these as individual 14 oz ceramic mugs or in a set of three 2 oz demi mugs.
