Claudia L. Tenney, born on February 4, 1961, is an American lawyer and politician who currently holds the position of U.S. representative for New York's 24th congressional district since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the representative for the 22nd district from 2017 to 2019 and from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Tenney, affiliated with the Republican Party, is widely known for her vocal support of former president Donald Trump.

Tenney said to Fox News Digital that Donald Trump played a crucial role in enabling the initial peace agreements in the Middle East after nearly three decades. Over the years, bureaucrats, so-called foreign policy experts, and international organizations had continuously claimed that achieving further peace agreements in the Middle East was unattainable without resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, President Trump successfully debunked this notion.

Tenney noted that while the Nobel Peace Prize has acknowledged significant peace accords in the past, such as the Israel-Egypt peace accord in 1978 and the Oslo Accords in 1994, it has failed to recognize the role played by Trump in brokering an agreement between Israel and four Arab neighbors. This agreement aimed at fostering diplomatic and economic relations between the nations.

During his presidency, President Trump's brave efforts in creating the Abraham Accords were unprecedented. However, the Nobel Peace Prize Committee has unfortunately failed to recognize his contributions, highlighting the urgent need for his nomination today. In light of Joe Biden's weak leadership on the international stage, which poses a threat to our country's safety and security, it is crucial that we acknowledge Trump's strong leadership and his tireless pursuit of world peace. It is with great honor that I nominate former President Donald Trump today, eagerly anticipating the well-deserved recognition he should receive.

The Nobel Peace Prize is among the five prestigious awards created through the testament of Alfred Nobel, a Swedish industrialist, inventor, and manufacturer of armaments. These awards also include the prizes in Chemistry, Physics, Physiology or Medicine, and Literature.

The Nobel Peace Prize has been granted to 141 Nobel Prize laureates, consisting of 111 individuals and 30 organizations, a total of 104 times from 1901 to 2023. Notably, the International Committee of the Red Cross has received this prestigious award on three occasions (in 1917, 1944, and 1963), while the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has been honored twice (in 1954 and 1981). Consequently, there are 27 distinct organizations that have been recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize.

In 2020, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, nominated Trump for the first time. He commended Trump for his efforts in resolving long-standing conflicts across the globe.

Shortly thereafter, Laura Huhtasaari, a Member of the European Parliament and a member of the right-wing Swedish Finns Party, submitted a nomination to the Nobel Committee for Trump to be considered for the 2021 prize. Huhtasaari highlighted Trump's dedication to ending perpetual wars, promoting dialogue and negotiations among conflicting parties, and strengthening the internal unity and stability of his nation.

The nomination from the Finns Party followed Trump's instrumental role in facilitating an economic relations agreement between Serbia and Kosovo.

In September 2020, a group of Australian lawmakers nominated Trump for the third time. According to Australian legal scholar David Flint, Trump's implementation of the Trump Doctrine signifies his decision to disengage America from perpetual wars. These wars, which result in the loss of numerous young American lives and burden America with substantial debts, are now being curtailed. Trump's approach aims to diminish America's inclination to participate in every conflict, thereby reducing its involvement in unnecessary wars.

The announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize is scheduled for October.
