Sullivan said during an interview with NBC's Meet the Press that the United States will conduct additional strikes and take further measures to clearly demonstrate that any attack on American forces or loss of American lives will be met with a response.

In an interview with CBS's Face the Nation, Sullivan said that the recent attack was just the beginning of their response, and there will be more actions taken, some of which may go unnoticed. He emphasized that these actions should not be perceived as an ongoing military operation. These statements were made following an air assault by the US on Friday targeting over 80 sites linked to Iranian-backed militias and the Revolutionary Guard in Iraq and Syria.

Therefore, Mohammed Abdulsalam, a spokesperson for the Houthi group, said that Yemen's support for Gaza will not be affected by continued aggression from the US and UK in Yemen. This came after a series of strikes by the US and UK on Houthi targets. Abdulsalam also mentioned that it will not be easy to destroy Yemen's military capabilities.

The Houthi group, which is supported by Iran, has been attacking vessels in the Red Sea and other areas near the Yemen coast, claiming that they are targeting Israeli or Israel-bound ships in response to the conflict in Gaza. However, they have frequently targeted ships with weak or no clear connections to Israel.
